TEMPRANILLO: The name Tempranillo comes from the fact that it is harvested before the other varieties. there are Tempranillo in Rioja, Ribera de Duero or Toro, among other Spanish appellations, although in each of these places it is called by different names. Garnacha is a type of grape whose origin has always been uncertain. Until a few years ago, it was considered to be of Spanish origin. Recent studies have linked its possible origin to tartaric remains found in Sardinia, dating back 3200 years. Merlot wine is characterised by its finesse and smoothness, while remaining aromatic and meaty. It has a very intense ruby colour, medium alcohol content and ages quickly without losing quality. Petit Verdot: Originally from Bordeaux, it is used there in small quantities to add character to some of the most important Médoc labels. But it is undoubtedly the grape least appreciated by the Bordeaux people, as in France it gives a rustic, vigorous and rather herbal character. Viura: Is also known as MACABEO, is common in the production of white wine in La Rioja, Aragon, Valencia and in the production of cava in Catalonia.
